Anjanam
Herbal collyrium, Anjanam, involves applying medicated collyrium to the inner margin of the eyelids. This treatment is used to enhance vision, prevent eye diseases, and alleviate symptoms like itching and burning sensations. It also helps in removing foreign bodies from the eyes. After application, it should not be washed or rubbed immediately to ensure maximum efficacy.

Tarpanam
Tarpanam involves creating an enclosure around the eyes using black gram flour and pouring lukewarm medicated oil or ghee into it for a specified duration. This treatment is beneficial for burning sensation in the eyes, myopia, subconjunctival hemorrhage, eye stiffness, dry eye syndrome, corneal ulcers, clouding and watering of the eyes, falling of eyelashes, Bell's palsy, myasthenia gravis, and stroke.

Karnapoorana
Karnapoorana involves filling the ears with medicated oil or ghee. The ear lobes are gently massaged with oil, and lukewarm, purified medicated oil is gently poured into one ear. This ancient Ayurvedic therapy soothes and cures various ear-related problems.

Akshisekam
Akshisekam involves the continuous streaming of medicated decoctions over the eyes. This therapy is designed to strengthen eye muscles, relax the eyes, and improve vision.

Kavala/ kabala

Bidalakam

Panchakarma

Vamana, or Emesis Therapy, involves controlled, medically induced vomiting to eliminate excess Kapha Dosha. This treatment is not recommended for children, the elderly, pregnant women, or individuals with tuberculosis or hepatitis. Prior to the treatment, both internal and external oleation are performed using medicated ghee or oil. The patient follows a special diet, avoids loud speech and sunlight, and ensures adequate rest after the treatment.

Virechana, or Purgation Therapy, uses herbal laxatives to eliminate toxins and expel excess Pitta Dosha from the body. Vasti (Enema) treatments effectively cure Vata ailments and eliminate toxins from the lower gastrointestinal tract, while also strengthening the nervous system. There are two types of Vasti treatments: Niruha Vasti and Anuvasana Vasti, administered based on the patient's condition and treatment requirements.

Anuvasana Vasti: Enema therapy using medicated oils. It revitalizes the colon, where Vata primarily resides.

Niruha Vasti: Uses a special herbal decoction called kashaya, hence also known as Kashaya Vasti. This differs from Anuvasana Vasti primarily in its use of herbal decoctions.
